A typical StudioHOF strategy for driving traffic, is to start our new customers with paid advertising to get the initial spurt of traffic. At some stage, that traffic gets recognized by Google, and the new site has RELEANCE according to Google. When that happens, we typically back off Pay Per Click advertising, often to the point of not PPC advertising at all. The Organic (not paid for) search takes over. At that stage, PPC is used tactically to boost traffic when the flow of customers tapers off. In some markets, the competition is too fierce to use this tactic, however, we have found it to be succesful and economical in the majority of cases.
